The root grapple is a necessity in the tree industry as well as for contractors clearing a lot for home site building. It is ideal for moving logs, brush, rocks, left over building supplies or just about anything else.

Our Heavy Duty Root Grapple has a feature that our customers love. All of our grapples have the cylinders protected, but our Heavy Duty Root Grapple offers the option of a bolt on enclosure for the cylinder shaft. Most root grapples only have the actual cylinder enclosed and not the shaft. We can protect both with the bolt on kit. Anyone that has had a tree or metal fall on the cylinder shaft knows what kind of damage can be caused!

The cylinders have a 2" bore and a 10" stroke, and operate independently to adjust for uneven loads. The hydraulic lines are routed inside the tubing to prevent tears. All tines on our heavy duty root grapple are built with 1/2" top quality steel, oversized points and bushings, while every pivot point has counter sunk grease fittings. Every unit exceeds the lifting capacity of the skid steer machine it is used on. The grapple opening is 3 feet, and has a depth of 3 feet 2 inches. Pricing and sizes are below.
